My Typical Friday

Today was one of my typical Fridays. I wake up around 7-7:30 am either to my wife yelling upstairs for my oldest daughter to get up for school or my oldest daughter is skipping through the house just as happy as can be. Today we all got ready and dropped her off at her school, and we headed off to Woodland Lake Park. We do this every Monday and Friday as an effort to stay in shape, and it's a nice place. The track around the lake is about 1.8 miles long. What usually happens is I jog it once and then turn around and jog back to wherever my wife is. I usually go about 2 to 2.5 miles. We do this while pushing a double stroller with my two other daughters of 4 and 6 months.

After that, we come home, eat breakfast and get ready for the day. And this is so nice. Amy and I had a conversation while walking around the lake of having a job. Her sister had asked a question relating to a job. Since we have taken the step of becoming Entrepreneurs, after tasting the freedom we now enjoy, there is no possible way we could ever imagine going back to a job. I've always liked the idea: Once you have made a decision, later on down the road, you don't have to remake that decision because you have already made it. Becoming an entrepreneur was a decision we made nearly 4 years ago. We don't have to re-make that decision now. It is just who we are.

On Fridays I always attend a Leadership call with one of the Co-founders of my Liberty League. I will tell you what...what better way to create wealth in my life is there, than to be on a masterminding and leadership call with hundreds of self-made millionaires? I could't think of a better place to be! I would go into what was said on that call, but, if you want it bad enough, you can be there too very shortly.

Here in a few moments I will start my work day which, on Fridays, it is only about 2 hours long. I will follow-up with a few potential business partners and collect a few decisions, then I'm done for the day. That is my work schedule. Sometimes I have to pinch myself.
